GDS API integration

GDS API integration services for Amadeus, Sabre and Travelport

We integrate Amadeus, Sabre and Travelport APIs into booking engines, B2B portals and mid-office systems, covering shopping, pricing, booking, ticketing and servicing, and we keep those integrations working as the APIs change.

  • Air shopping, pricing, PNR creation, ticketing and queues
  • Changes, cancellations, refunds and ancillaries
  • Hotel, car and supplier XML APIs alongside GDS content
  • Certification support, monitoring and ongoing maintenance

What a GDS integration covers

Shopping and pricing

Availability and fare search, fare rules, branded fares and price confirmation.

Booking

PNR creation with traveller details, contacts, SSRs and payment information.

Ticketing

Ticket issuance, EMDs for ancillaries and voids where permitted.

Servicing

Schedule changes, reissues, cancellations and refunds handled through the API.

Queues

Automated queue reading for schedule changes and other airline messages.

Hotel and car

GDS hotel and car content combined with direct suppliers.

Working with Amadeus, Sabre and Travelport

Each GDS has its own APIs, test environments and onboarding steps, and access is normally tied to your agency agreement. We work with the credentials and environments provided under your contract, follow each provider's certification process where one applies, and design the integration so a second GDS can be added later without rewriting your booking flow.

GDS and NDC

Many airlines now offer richer offers through NDC, but most agencies still need GDS content for coverage and servicing. A common approach is to run both, combine results in one search and route each booking to the right channel. Our NDC integration service covers the airline and aggregator side.

Beyond the GDS: supplier XML APIs

Hotel suppliers

Bed banks and channel managers with property mapping and de-duplication.

Ground and activities

Transfers, tours and activities added to the same itinerary.

Insurance and visas

Ancillary services offered during booking.

Payments

Payment gateways and fraud checks connected to the booking flow.

What affects effort and cost

  • Which GDSs and how many products (air only, or air plus hotel and car)
  • Booking flows needed: one-way, return and multi-city, ancillaries, servicing
  • Certification requirements of each provider
  • Whether you are building a new engine or extending an existing one
  • Monitoring and maintenance level after launch

Integration process

  1. Step 1

    Scope

Agree GDSs, products, flows and the target system.

  2. Step 2

    Build in test

Develop against the provider's test environment with automated checks.

  3. Step 3

    Certify

Complete required certification scenarios with the provider.

  4. Step 4

    Go live and monitor

Switch to production with logging, alerts and a maintenance plan.

Frequently asked questions

What does GDS integration involve?

Connecting your system to a GDS API so it can search fares, price itineraries, create bookings, issue tickets and handle changes and refunds automatically.

Do we need our own GDS contract?

Usually yes. GDS API access is normally tied to your agency agreement. We build using the credentials and environments provided under it.

GDS or NDC: which do we need?

Most agencies need both. GDS gives broad coverage and mature servicing; NDC can give airline-specific offers and ancillaries. We can combine both in one booking flow.

What happened to the XML API integrations page?

It has moved here. Supplier XML integrations for hotels, transfers, activities and insurance are covered on this page.
